Oversee repairs and servicing of all plant Refrigeration, HVAC, and AMU unitsMonitor and start the Refrigeration, HVAC, and AMU units to have ready for morning production dailyRefrigeration Work Orders Work with the Maintenance Manager, PSM Coordinator, plant refrigeration team, and MLS clerk to develop and monitor necessary refrigeration work orders to ensure plant refrigeration systems are maintained.
Work orders will be evaluated, updated, and reissued as necessary to ensure that refrigeration systems are well maintainedHVAC Work Orders - Work with the Maintenance Manager, PSM Coordinator, plant refrigeration team, and PM clerk to develop and monitor necessary HVAC work orders to ensure plant HVAC systems are maintained.
Work orders will be evaluated, updated, and reissued as necessary to ensure that HVAC systems are well maintainedRefrigeration LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) documentation Work with the Maintenance Manager and Safety Manager to ensure that all LOTO documentation for refrigeration equipment is proper and meets or exceeds OSHA requirements.
LOTO will be updated, as necessaryHVAC LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) documentation Work with the Maintenance Manager and Safety Manager to ensure that all LOTO documentation for HVAC equipment is proper and meets or exceeds OSHA requirements.
LOTO will be updated, as necessaryRIK (Replacement in Kind) Receive, review, and document RIKs each time a replacement in kind is performed at the facilityIIAR (109 forms) Assist Case Ready PSM coordinator with annual IIAR Checklist PMs for Annual IIAR Updates.
If there are changes made these will be recorded and filedPSM Meeting Attendance Refrigeration Technician to assist the plant Maintenance Manager with updates at the PSM Meetings.
PSM meetings must be held and recorded at least monthly at each facilityMOC (Management of Change) Receive, review, and document MOCs each time a change is made to refrigeration equipment/drawingsIncident Investigation Reports Receive, review, and document all incident investigations with the assistance of the Maintenance Manager, Corporate Engineering, and PSM Coordinator.
Directly take part in any incidents and assist the plant with proper reporting procedures and follow up action items.
Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all incident investigations and corrective actionsSafety Relief Logs 5-year updates to the Safety Relief Logs for each plant Engine Room reviewed and filed with the PSM CoordinatorProcess Flow Diagrams Assist the Case Ready PSM Coordinator with annual auditing of plant process flow diagrams and update with assistance of CR Engineer and plant refrigeration team.
Maintain records for any/all refrigeration and HVAC equipmentUnderstand and assist with plant Wastewater equipment and upkeepAudit and assist with plant wastewater operations including tracking of effluent samples and storm water samples, as necessaryMust be willing to work long hours if necessary and be available 24/7Must be willing to travel, as necessaryOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position.

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following:
Familiar with maintenance work order systemMinimum Operator 1 Qualification and CFC Certification/LicenseMicrosoft Office Including Excel, Word, and PowerPointFiling/Organizational SkillsSelf-Motivated, Self-Directed, Self-StarterAbility to work/communicate with each plant refrigeration team, CR Engineer, and Corporate PSM CoordinatorAbility to Audit/Modify PMs with plant refrigeration teamsAbility to Multi-TaskAbility to read prints and drawingsAbility to reach out to and communicate with refrigeration vendors and auditors to assist with refrigeration and HVAC projects and needsWillingness to take job related classes and continue refrigeration/HVAC training, as necessary.
The following experience is preferred but not required:
Experience working on ammonia/refrigeration systemsExperience with troubleshooting low/high voltage systemsAuditing/Compliance experienceApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.
